Dr. Tonya Armstrong is a leader of leaders, purveyor of hope, and problem solver who can catalyze leadership capacity in your organizational capacity,, as demonstrated by her own track record of leadership. After seven years in solo, part-time practice, Dr. Armstrong launched The Armstrong Center for Hope, a behavioral health practice cultivated psychological and spiritual wellness for all ages. For over 12 years, she has led The ACFH’s growth to 17 licensed clinicians, 3 interns, and a growing Business Office staff.
Additionally, Dr. Armstrong served on the Board of the North Carolina Psychological Association as President-Elect, President, and Immediate Past President in 2017-2019. Since that time, she has launched the NCPA’s Leadership Formation Academy, designed to create a pipeline of psychologists who more effectively contribute to the development of their own professional niches, their service via NCPA, and their value to behavioral health writ large.
